Quick Ride connects riders in Tirana with nearby motorbike drivers. This page says what we collect, why, and what happens to it, in plain words.

What we collect

• Your phone number. It's how you log in: we send a code over WhatsApp and you type it back. No passwords, no email.
• Your first name and photo, if you add them. Riders can add a name so the driver greets them by it. Drivers add their name, photo, and documents when they apply.
• Driver applications. License, vehicle registration, vehicle details, and motorbike photos, checked by hand by an operator.
• Trips. Pickup, dropoff, route, fare, ratings, and reviews. This is the record of the service itself.
• Saved places. Home, work, and places you star, stored so you can book with one tap.
• Location. Drivers share live position while they're online. Riders share position during an active trip, including in the background, so the driver can find them and the map stays live.
• Support messages. What you write to us through Contact support.
• Website visits. This website counts its own page views on our own server: the page, the referring site, and an anonymous daily identifier that can't be traced back to you. No cookies, no Google Analytics, no third parties.

What we never collect

Money never moves through Quick Ride: every fare is paid in cash, directly to the driver. We hold no card numbers, no bank details, no wallets. We don't sell or rent anyone's data, and there is no advertising.

Who sees what

• Before a match, riders see nearby motorbikes by vehicle, rating, and distance, never the driver's name or exact position.
• Once matched, the rider sees the driver's name, photo, vehicle, plate, and live position; the driver sees the rider's first name, pickup, dropoff, and live position.
• Operators see trips, applications, and support messages, because checking those is their job.

Third parties

• WhatsApp (Meta) carries the login codes we send you. Meta's own terms apply to your WhatsApp account.
• Map tiles come from CARTO, built on OpenStreetMap. Loading the map sends your device's tile requests to their servers, as with any map app.

Routing runs on our own servers, hosted in the EU.

Deleting your account

Settings, then Delete account, in either app. It permanently removes your personal details: your phone number, name, photos, and saved places. Past trips stay on record without them, because the trip ledger is the service's accounting. This can't be undone.
