Terms of Service

Effective 20 August 2026

These Terms govern your use of the Quick Ride rider app, driver app, and website. By tapping Accept and continue in either app, you agree to them.

What Quick Ride does

Quick Ride is a technology platform that helps riders in Albania connect with nearby motorbike drivers. Riders choose a motorbike and request a trip. Drivers choose when to go online and whether to accept an offer.

Quick Ride does not provide transportation and is not a party to any transportation agreement between users. Drivers are independent users, not employees, agents, representatives, or subcontractors of Quick Ride. Quick Ride does not direct or control the operation of a motorcycle.

Who can use the service

You must be at least 18 years old to use Quick Ride. Use your own phone number, keep your login code private, and give accurate information. You are responsible for activity through your account until you log out or tell us it has been compromised.

Booking and price estimates

Before booking, Quick Ride displays available motorbikes, an estimated route, and a non-binding estimated price for informational purposes. The same estimate remains visible during that request. It is not a platform-imposed fare or a guarantee of the final amount. Users independently agree any final payment between themselves. A new request may show a different estimate because the route, calculator inputs, or availability may have changed.

Pickup and destination details must be accurate enough for the driver to complete the trip. Map pins, routes, distances, and arrival times are practical estimates and can be affected by traffic, road access, GPS, or mapping services.

Payment between users

Quick Ride does not collect, process, enforce, guarantee, or recover payment. If a rider and driver agree on payment, they complete it directly between themselves, normally in cash. Quick Ride holds no card details, wallet, driver earnings, or rider funds and is not responsible for collecting an amount one user says another owes.

Cancellations and no-shows

Use the cancellation controls in the app when a trip cannot continue and choose the reason that best describes what happened. A driver may record a no-show after waiting at the pickup. Quick Ride keeps these trip outcomes as part of the service record.

Safety and conduct

Motorbike travel carries real road risk. Riders and drivers must follow Albanian law, act respectfully, and avoid conduct that is unsafe, threatening, discriminatory, fraudulent, or unlawful. Quick Ride is not an emergency service. Contact the public emergency services when immediate help is needed.

Driver responsibilities

Drivers are responsible for keeping every licence, registration, insurance, permission, vehicle condition, and item of safety equipment required by law. Application documents and vehicle information must be accurate and kept current. Quick Ride may review them by hand, request replacements, reject an application, or suspend access when information or conduct requires attention. Allowing a driver account to access the app does not certify that the driver's activity is legally permitted.

Ratings and information you provide

Ratings, reviews, support messages, photos, and documents must be honest, lawful, and relevant to the service. You remain responsible for what you submit. Quick Ride may remove material or restrict access when necessary to protect people, investigate misuse, or comply with law.

Availability and accounts

Quick Ride does not promise that a driver will be available, that a particular driver will accept, or that the apps and mapping services will always be uninterrupted. We may maintain, change, or withdraw parts of the service.

You can delete your account from Settings. Personal details are removed as described in the Privacy Policy, while past trips remain without those details as the service record. A driver account may also be suspended or rejected as described above.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what information Quick Ride collects, why it is used, who sees it, and how account deletion works. It is kept separate so these Terms do not repeat or obscure it.

Responsibility and legal rights

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Quick Ride is not responsible for road accidents; the operation, safety, or condition of a user's vehicle; injury or loss caused by another user's conduct; payment disagreements between users; a user's violation of traffic or other law; or inaccuracies in GPS, map, route, distance, arrival-time, or price estimates.

Users remain responsible for their own conduct, legal duties, and agreements. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability directly caused by Quick Ride's own fault where Albanian law does not permit that exclusion or limitation, or removes any other right or responsibility that cannot legally be excluded.

Changes to these Terms

When these Terms change in a way that requires a new agreement, we update the effective date and ask you to accept the new version in the app. Quick Ride records the accepted Terms version, your user account, and the acceptance time on its server. Reinstalling the app or changing phones does not by itself require another acceptance; a new Terms revision does.

Law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Albania. Contact us first so we can understand the issue and try to resolve it. Nothing here limits any consumer complaint or court right available under applicable law.
